Knoxville Appraisal Company was founded by James Brock in 2007. Since that time, James has built the largest dedicated residential appraisal firm in East Tennessee.  According to James, "The business of real estate appraisal is like any other service business. Friendly service, expert knowledge, and a competitive edge will set some companies apart." At KAC, James and his team have a proven track record with the most sought-after client relationships, and he gives his team access to elite grade training, proprietary tools and processes. His leadership is backed by a formal business education, a background in the mortgage origination and servicing, and 18 years' experience as an appraisal instructor, trainer, and public speaker. James has worked on joint projects with large data partners, industry software providers, appraisal education centers, and local investment groups. He offers appraisal related training to teams of local lenders, real estate professionals, and his appraiser peers. He is always eager to help raise the bar for the profession, including innovating and developing the elite residential appraisers of tomorrow. KAC appraisers bring over 60 years combined experience and his team includes several appraisers with over twelve years tenure.
